MCCUBBIN DRIVE PARK

Public BBQ

McCubbin Drive Park delivers comprehensive recreational facilities across multiple age groups, anchored by its diverse playground equipment and sporting amenities. The park features an extensive BMX and mountain bike track, though the design proves somewhat cramped for high-speed riding due to tight spacing between features. Water play areas provide relief during hot weather, complemented by basketball courts and unusually long swing sets that prove popular with children. The barbecue areas offer covered cooking facilities with adequate seating, while exceptionally clean toilet facilities exceed typical playground standards. The park's main limitation is its lack of shaded areas, making summer visits challenging during peak heat. The combination of cycling tracks, water features, and traditional playground equipment creates an active environment suited to energetic families seeking varied entertainment options.
